2004

Competing among more than 600 entries from cheese companies nationwide, Haystack Mountain Goat Dairy won three awards at the annual conference of the American Cheese Society on July 24 2004 in Milwaukee. This year's awards:
-- Second place for Haystack Peak
-- Second place for Haystack Feta
-- Third place for Queso de Mano

2003
In August 2003, at the annual conference in San Francisco, and with more than 600 entries, we were honored:
-- Second place award for our Smoked Log.
-- Third place award for our Queso de Mano

2002

-- First Place for Chèvre Spread with Roasted Green Chile

2001

-- First Place for Boulder Chevre with Rosemary
-- Three Second Places for Chevre Spread with Green Chili, Boulder Chevre and Chevre en Marinade

Haystack was recently honored as one of 24 US dairies invited to send cheese to the third "Feast of Cheeses" in Bra, Italy. The festival was sponsored by Slow Food International, an organization founded by Italian writer Carlo Petrini as an antidote to the industrialization of food production by fast-food outlets.
